Relevant legal and ethical issues

For my drama there are a lot of things to think about in
terms of legal rights for example there are a lot of companies that buy and
stream programmes to the public. Companies like Netflix will give money to the production
company to stream it on their service. This will give them the right to stream
the programme to their viewers for a certain period of time, after this time is
up the licence will have to be renewed for a different price depending on how
successful the movie is. This will be a good source of income and a good
opportunity to spread the drama to millions of viewers as millions of people
have a Netflix subscription and it will be watched daily.
The programmes soundtrack and feature songs’ licence will
have to be obtained for a certain price. This will allow for the production
company to licence the songs for the drama and nothing else.
Ethical
Issues
There are some ethical issues that need to be addressed as
the show is very brutal and portrays the darker side of life within society.
The drama will have to keep certain ethical groups happy as some scenes may be
so graphic that some scenes will be very upsetting and so many precautions will
have to be taken in order to keep everyone happy. These issues will be
addressed in an orderly manner with many assessments being taken across all of
the scenes
